About Us
About us is really about me. My name is Larry Rubinoff and I have been in the real estate and finance business in several different capacities for over 40 years.
Earlly on in my career I was a credit/collection counselor for a then major automobile finance company. From there, I became a District Credit Manager for Westinghouse Electric in charge of all credit functions for two divisions.
I entered real estate as a developer and owner of a management company specializing in conversions of apartments and hotels to condominiums as well as new construction.
As a developer and manager structuring financing for our projects as well as for end users became a primary function. The education and knowledge I earned became the staple of my existence for years to come.
for the past 15 years after semi retiring to raise a family, I focused my full attention to the residential and commercial mortgage industry with the main emphaisis on residential. I became expert in FHA/VA and sub prime which was just beginning to emerge at the beginning of my full time mortgage carrer.
The road I traveled for the past 40 years has exposed me to much in the way of business, finance and structure. Various opportunities and ventures came my way, some of which I employed very innovative and cutting edge systems and programs to accomplish successfully. I turned failed ventures and real estate projects into successful ones. I consulted others and negotiated loan terms (today called loan modifications) as well as terms on receivables, payables and other business related matters in efforts to enhance or save or the enterpirse.
My understanding of how the mortgage industry works and how it began to unravel caused me to look further into the situation. The initial collapse of the mortgage industry and the way blame was being reported did not sit right with me and so began my effort to attempt to right some wrongs, un justify what had been justifed wrongly and publish thourh this site and www.TheMortgageCorner.org the truth not being reported by main stream media, the banks and bankers or the Federal Government.
As you will hear me say time and time again, "two wrongs don't make a right" and "the laws of the land are fore EVERYONE not just the privileged few at the top of the wealth and financial ladder".
My hope is that questions are raised as a result of the information and opinions I offer to cause you to research furhter on your own and take action. The PATHWAY TO JUSTICE exists for all of us to travel.
